As a player for the Harlem Globetrotters, Carl Green traveled the world to introduce basketball to countries where no other American could travel, including post World War II East Germany and Japan. He is a pioneer in the civil rights movement and a retired businessman. He currently lives in New York City with his wife, Judith.
