Cassandra Myers should’ve settled down by now but chooses to write books instead. Her work has been published in Mystery Tribune and her short story “Two Notes” won Honorable Mention in the Kalanithi Writing Award contest. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in comparative literature and has worked as a bookstore clerk, an administrative associate, and a university science writer. Her first novel, They Shut Me Up, a crime-focused mystery about the murdered don of an Irish-American crime family, will be published by Winding Road Stories in the fall.
